Lake McDonald sunset
This is Lake McDonald in Glacier Park, taken from a webcam shot at 5 pm on Sunday night. I regularly check my favorite mountain spots as seen by webcam, and every now and again I come across a magnificent sunrise or sunset that I can't resist sharing. Amazing to me that technology has now made possible a virtual visit any time to places that have always been in my dreams since I first saw them as a child.
