Hi! Isn't it a blessing to be able to see something like this? I went to AZ when I was 13, and what I remember most was how completely different it was from what I was used to (fir trees, white mountains, sea water, rain of Puget Sound) and how mesmerizing that difference was. Celeste
 
Pam, thank you! It's kind of you to say this for this post, since I struggled with this one - had to write eight different poems before I could post anything at all.

And Celeste, it's very different from what I was raised with as well (mountains of western Montana.) It took me awhile to get used to the starkness, but now I love it.
