These images are "Bitterroot's" lasting legacy. I'm sad to say that she passed away yesterday [7/30/09] in the presence of her family. For those of you who have grown to love her through her pictures and friendship, please keep her and her family in your thoughts.
 

Thank you, Amy, for noting this. Indeed, she will not be taking new photos to post to the blog. Her passion may be extinguished, but she leaves us all a rich legacy. If we, the family, can log into this site, we may yet post other pictures she's taken over the years. This is but a smattering of the phenomenal photos she's captured in her many adventures in her life, particularly in the last five years or so.
