Look at all those layers. Fascinating! We visited Zion twice when I was a child; I want to take my sons there. This reminds me a little of that place.

Fantastic photos! I just found your blog, and I have to admit, I don't know how you go back to Wisconsin after staying in the Bitterroot. I've tried to leave and can't! I'm excited to explore more of your blog though!

kievas, I truly did enjoy this spectacular red rock country.

daisy, thank you! The hardest part was leaving Montana in the first place, but I wanted to go to school and see the wide world. Job constraints have not allowed us to come back to Montana (my husband's job doesn't exist there), so we found the next best spot in the world. I do love Wisconsin, but my heart is in the mountains.
