Such sweet faces

Such sweet faces, originally uploaded by Bitterroot.

Continuing with the color explorations to counter the monochromatic world outside my window. This was taken in Olbrich Gardens in Madison, Wisconsin

If you'd like to see more refreshing color, take a look at the link below. What gave me
the inspiration for pursuing color is a class I'm facilitatng on Flickr. The subject is an exploration of the archetypal classical Elements (Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire) as seen by different cultures for thousands of years.

There are many threads in the Elements class, but these are notable for some splendid splashes of color that always give me a lift me when I go there. By all means, if you have a Flickr account, please feel free to post in these threads! There will be more to come as well.

Update: I believe the bottom two links click straight through to Flickr; there is some problem with the top two links that requires you to click twice (the second time on the afterclass link) before reaching the destination. With two clicks, you should get there!

The Elements: the colors and moods of Water
