Tumbled rock

Tumbled rock, originally uploaded by Bitterroot.

Taken in Marble Canyon, Arizona.

Your last two photos-they both have a barren look about them, one cold, one warm.
I like the simple, stark quality to this, yet so very colorful. We are in the grips of winter; this looks sunny and warmer.
I enjoyed the richness of the reds. If you hid the foreground vegetation, this could be taken on Mars :)
Thank you all; every now and then I like to add a photo of the rich red landforms of Arizona to vary our winter fare!

Pam, you're right - the two photos are each in their own way very bleak. I have a fascination for bleak, harsh landscapes.
