Golden hour on the Blackfoot River
On clear days and in unburned places, (see previous post) the sound of fast-moving water was a joy. Water became a refuge.

Your fire photos are beautiful and frightening at the same time. I cannot imagine what it must be like to know that nature's fury is so close by.
