Don't mess with me!
Great Horned Owl. These photos were taken by my son in a park in Fort Benton, Montana. This creature was truly fierce; it flew at his head twice when he got too close to a tree where its baby was trying out its own wings. Click on either photo to see a larger size (see instructions at left.)

Hi! I really enjoyed your pictures today! I love the owl--it's expression is just like my cats' when they have a mouse. Love those wide open country shots!!
