Comments:
beautiful picture and a nice Haiku. I sometimes try to use pictures and art work to inspire poems too

stunning photo and lovely haiku.

Just wonderful picture!

Oh, what a marvelous sense of emerging this gives. And a wonderful haiku to go with it. Thank you.

I am in love with this picture and poem...thank you. I want to be there!

Wonderful photos all through your site. Thanks so much for sharing them with us.

Thank you so much, rav'n, crafty green, sonia, mb, poet, and dmmgmfm.

This is one of my all-time favorite pictures. I've posted it in honor of the season, the solstice, and the new year!

I do appreciate your kind words.

This a really fine haiku, and a lovely picture!

E.... this is a truly perfect image for the Solstice ... that window of clarity between mountaintops and low cloud-ceiling says so much about the return of the light in this dark season. mb wrote about the sense of emerging - that's a good way to put it.

And your words. Thank you for the poem and photo today, my friend. I can understand why you say this is one of your all time favorite photos. You have caught the light quality of this quiet scene so beautifully. You have somehow captured Hope with your camera. More Bitterroot magic!

btw I saw your photo on PhotoFriday today -- #217. nice to see you are posting there :-)

j'aime beaucoup cette photo

How beautifully simple.. how refreshing.

My goodness you all are so kind! Thank you for taking the time to visit and comment. I'm thrilled that you like both photo and poem.

M, what a lovely thought - capturing Hope. I will not forget that.
