Muted tones on a gray day

Muted tones on a gray day, originally uploaded by Bitterroot.

stillness on the land:
rich muted tones of grasses
stream rippling softly

Taken in Iowa County, Wisconsin.

Comments:
These look like healthy banks on a lovely stream. I appreciate your appreciation of the delicate and muted. The essence of what is there in front of you.

Muted but so vibrant. I can feel myself on that bank breathing the early winter fragrance of damp air and pungent earth.

Yes, we need John Adams and many more like him.
