Summer dreams... Summer has turned so fierce in so many parts of the world. This thorn-filled thistle is my acknowledgment that summer can have a very forbidding dimension to it. We are sweltering here in Wisconsin - hoping to see it break by Wednesday. My Montana cousins claim to be sending more reasonable weather this way from the western slopes.

Yeah, today and yesterday have been downright pleasant. Good summer weather. Hope it heads your way!
