Breadbasket
Family farms still dot the countryside in southwestern Wisconsin.
Here is a glimpse at the breadbasket of the middle west: a thriving
stand of corn on the Fourth of July.

How lovely. When I traveled through Wisconsin in April - I was on the move and without a camera. I was fascinated by the open silos of corn that looked like cages. I hope that you have a few photos of them to share.
I found your blog through karbonkountymoos... Not a Montana resident (yet), but a former Wisconsin resident. I love the southwestern WI landscape.
I enjoy both landscapes (Montana and Wisconsin) as well. They are so completely different; each has its own inspiring qualities.
